Moon Mountain Designs was created through the inspiration of my home in the glorious Gold Country. As a child, anything I could find to make what I would envision was open for the taking and making! From oiling and burning paper for that 'aged' look of old books and maps, sewing, metal scraps for hair ornaments, weaving baskets and wall hangings, macrame, some bead work, leather work ...anything! I went on to own and work in my hair design business for ten years, where upon becoming allergic to the chemicals, I became a massage therapist. I now focus on clay, however, still picking up terrific stones, sticks and beautiful nature filigreed leaves! The 'art' of impermanence is knowing it all goes back to the earth or, lasts for a while to inspire and teach.

Throughout my life, art has been a constant. Out of need or want it feeds my soul. When you enjoy the arts I welcome you to find your inspiration on your own Moon Mountain.
